Mr. Stern will officially assume his new role as the new Superintendent of Livingston Public School on July 1, 2026. 

A lifelong educator and pillar of the district for over 25 years, Mr. Stern’s appointment marks a new chapter for the community he has served as an English Teacher, English and Language Arts Supervisor, Livingston High School Assistant Principal, Livingston High School Principal, and, most recently, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology. The Board  approved this appointment during its public meeting on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Livingston High School.
